Terms of service

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you and NOT FILLED IN: the full legal name of the entity that operates toy-shop-prod, of NOT FILLED IN: the registered postal address. Notices to us go to NOT FILLED IN: the contact address.

2. What the service is

NOT FILLED IN: one paragraph saying what toy-shop-prod does for the person reading this. It is the only sentence here that nobody can draft for you.

3. Your account

An account is an email address and a password, or an email address and a sign-in through a provider you already have an account with, where that is offered. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping the password and the mailbox behind it secure.

A sign-in lasts for a limited time and then ends by itself. Signing out discards the session in your browser.

We may suspend or close an account that NOT FILLED IN: the conduct that gets an account closed, and you may close yours by NOT FILLED IN: how someone closes their account. There is no self-service deletion in this deployment, so this has to describe a process someone actually runs.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use toy-shop-prod to NOT FILLED IN: the prohibited uses. Keep it short and specific enough to enforce.

5. Payment

Where toy-shop-prod charges for something, the price, the billing period and what happens when a payment fails are NOT FILLED IN: the plans, the prices including or excluding tax, the billing period, and the refund and cancellation terms.

Payments are handled by a payment provider, and the card details never reach toy-shop-prod. Which provider, and whether that provider is the seller of record for your purchase - which decides who invoices you and who accounts for the tax - is NOT FILLED IN: the payment provider in force, and whether it is the merchant of record.

6. Your content

What you put into toy-shop-prod stays yours. NOT FILLED IN: the licence you need in order to run the service over it - storing, displaying and backing it up at a minimum - and what happens to it when an account closes.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided as it is, with no uptime promised beyond NOT FILLED IN: any availability commitment, or the plain statement that there is none. We may change or withdraw features, and material changes to these terms are published on this page.

8. Liability

NOT FILLED IN: the limitation of liability. The wording that is enforceable, and the cap that is, differ by country, and this is the clause most worth having a lawyer write.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of NOT FILLED IN: the governing law, and disputes are decided by NOT FILLED IN: the courts that have jurisdiction.
